I'm just finishing A&P I, and signed up for A&P II for next semester. I'm 30 years old, a new mother, wife, lalala....decided to change career paths, so its been a while since the last time I've been in a school environment. I have to be honest and say A&P I kicked my butt. I've heard A&P is the hardest of all the classes, but then I heard Microbiology is the hardest, and it seems like everyone has a different opinion. I just want to see what the overall thoughts are......What is everyone's take on this? When your finally in the program do the classes get easier/harder? And any suggestions on A&P II??? :loveya:

It really all depends on your professor, so it's pretty difficult to weigh if A&P is difficult for you or not.A&P 1 is really just memorization, but A&P 2 is definetly more challenging because this is really ur first insight on learning the physiology portion which is much more in depth. My A&P 1teacher was pretty laid back and his testing format was pretty standard, but my A&P 2 professor was very challenging and testing us more in a nursing based test format to get us prepared for the nursing program.I aced both courses, but I definitely learned so much more and studied much harder for my AP 2 class. I still remember a lot of the content from my AP 2 course which has really helped me in Patho. The subject matter itself really isn't that bad,but again, it all depends on how hard your teacher is and what they expect you to know.
