I am just wondering what you think my chances of getting the nursing program would be? I scored a 68 in the NLN (a bit low uhh?), a 3.11 GPA and have completed all the prerequisites with A's and B's. I am trying to get in for spring 2010 and worry myself everyday that I won't make the cut to get in.

:yeah:congrats tedebare I told u you will get in :) I got my letter also. I am not accepted :( well I will apply for fall , but I dont know what to do with myself 6 months !!

Oh no, Im so sorry to hear that askim, but thank you. I am positive you will get in during the fall, its just cuz you didnt have A & P 2 completed yet. Im surprised we found out so soon, at least the waiting is over. See you in micro on wed :)

I got in too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Can't wait to meet you guys in Spring!

Hi everyone, I applied for sping and got a letter for the alternate list. I got a 92 on the NLN and all A's and two B's but I'm taking Micro and the Lab now. Any idea how many alternates they have on stand by? Congratulations to all of you who got accepted!:yeah:

Hi Nicky,

I hope you will get in. You are so close :) . Let us know. Good luck again

Congrats Nomijen! Nickye08 I am not sure how many alternates they have but you got to figure that there are going to be a lot of people that can't afford the program, or got into another program, or just decided not to do go for whatever reason. So good luck!

Congrats Nomijen :yeah:

Why not call and ask? It can't hurt and may put your mind at ease :)

Askim, are you taking any of the classes required for BSN? Or have you already completed those? That may give you a semester or 2 to stay busy!

Nomijen I am taking A&P 2 and Micro right now. I will be done with my pre reqs at the end of this semester. I know I applied too early :( But I am very hopeful for Fall , I am only taking the courses that required for ADN. I have already BS in different field so I don't really know my options. BUt I am really happy for u guys :)

I know for this BSN program you need (besides what is req for ADN), 2 humanities, 2 history, Stat, and chem. You probably have most of those if you already have a degree.

You could always take some of the fillers (eyeroll) or take some time off!

I am def excited, but nervous for my life to be eat sleep and school! And those white scrub pants lol...UUGH. They're going to require a whole new wardrobe of underpants. lmao

Nomijen- thank u for the information. I will definitely look into it. You are right about white scrub pants :lol2:. You guys have a lot to be excited. Keep me posted so I can have an idea what to expect (hopefully!);).
