I am just wondering what you think my chances of getting the nursing program would be? I scored a 68 in the NLN (a bit low uhh?), a 3.11 GPA and have completed all the prerequisites with A's and B's. I am trying to get in for spring 2010 and worry myself everyday that I won't make the cut to get in.

Thank you alternurse I will def need the lucky :)

Hello all, Natty1989 I have also recently took the NLN and applied for the RN program for this Spring. The nerves are kicking in and I know its still another month or so before we will know anything. Like you I did well on the science but that verbal part brought me down on the NLN. Fingers crossed though. Does anyone know what kind of scores are needed to get into the program? I also am not all the way finished with classes, currently taking microbiology. Any replies is greatly appreciated. Good luck Natty1989.

Thank you tedebare, I'm going to need luck, I wish you luck too, what did you get on the NLN? My friend in the program said it takes luck to get in lol lucky him, he got in with an 88 percentile.

Thanks, I got a 95 on the NLN. But I talked to a lady in one of my classes who had a friend who had a 92 percentile and did not get in and another girl who also had a score in the 90s and did not get in either. I just hate the waiting.

You are definitely getting in 95 percentile is greattt. What's your GPA?

Thanks I hope you are right. I'm not quite sure what my GPA is, all depends on which they look at. I think they look at the one that says program GPA in which case its a 3.94. Have you completed all the pre req classes? Im currently taking microbiology.

Wow that's rly good, I wish I had your grades, you are definitely getting in then. I took everything already.

Thanks, wish I felt that confident about it. Good luck to you.

Hi everyone! I also applied for IRSC Nursing Program for Spring 2010. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one biting my nails waiting to hear if I'm accepted! Does anyone know if the NLN is what makes or breaks you? I scored OK, but I have a great GPA and a Bachelor's from FAU. I'm hoping that my NLN score doesn't bring me down to much...

I know the NLN is a factor but I dont think it is a make or break. I think the biggest thing is having all the classes done.

ok, thanks! I hope youre right :)

I meant Spring 2011!
