I am just wondering what you think my chances of getting the nursing program would be? I scored a 68 in the NLN (a bit low uhh?), a 3.11 GPA and have completed all the prerequisites with A's and B's. I am trying to get in for spring 2010 and worry myself everyday that I won't make the cut to get in.

All you can do is try. A girlfriend of mine tried 4 times before she was accepted, eventhough she went through the LPN program there. Another friend got in on the first try. Both with similar stats when it was IRCC. It really depends on the pool of applicants.
Good luck. It will work out for you.
Thanks for that advise. Though it doesn't make me any more confident. I just think that could have done better on the NLN, though I took less than 2 weeks to study for it. Because it was kinda of a rush decision t go to IRSC. Well I have my fingers cross, may be this one time luck might be able to change.

I take my pre-reqs at IRSC. I do not wish to continue hear after graduation, but will use it as my back-up school if I do not get into a upper division BSN program.

Hi. I applied for the ADN program at IRSC as well, and I am considering developing a fingernail chewing habit while waiting for the response! Good luck! Maybe we will be in classes together... I scored well on the NLN exam, and have a great GPA, but have not completed all of my prerequisites yet- they will be finished at the end of this semester. For that reason I am not all too confident on being accepted. But if not, there is always the spring application. I won't stop until they let me in- even if it is because they just get sick of seeing my name in the list of applicants!
Good luck! I didn't apply for the ADN program because I didn't have A & P done yet. I scored a 95 on the NLN-PN so I am pretty confident but the waiting is making me crazy!:roll
Alternurse,
