IRSC students

I am just wondering what you think my chances of getting the nursing program would be? I scored a 68 in the NLN (a bit low uhh?), a 3.11 GPA and have completed all the prerequisites with A's and B's. I am trying to get in for spring 2010 and worry myself everyday that I won't make the cut to get in.

ADN program... although I did have a backup plan to start taking my Bachelor's courses if I hadn't made it in. For my son's sake I'm glad I made it though. The sooner I start working in the field the better- I'm not getting any younger! :chuckle Did you hear anything yet RNurseHopeful? Alternurse? Anyone?

I didn't have all my pre reqs done for RN so back up was LPN...still waiting to hear. Nothing in the mail yet, but ADN deadline was a week before LPN.

Good Luck!!! I'm rooting for you... Keep me posted!

Congratulations LadyJay. I have not recieved a letter as yet my self but I am actually not at home so i won't Know if i got a letter just yet untill this weekend. But if don't mind me asking what was your score on the NLN? My back up plan also was to work on the Bachelor's courses, in which I have already started on. Well my only down fall was my NLN score of 68, and because of it I am not so confident about getting in. but, hey! there is always fall semester. Again congrats and I wish you all the best.

Alternurse- I don't mind your asking. I scored a 99 on my NLN, which is probably what got me in since I am finishing my pre-reqs this semester. That and I have straight A's in all the pre-reqs I have completed... but the plan to work on Bachelor's classes is a good one because those courses need to be taken either way... I am going to take some in Summer II semester regardless because nursing classes don't happen then (unless they don't divide summer semster for the RN program), and my son will be with his dad during that time :bluecry1: If I don't do something then I'll go crazy with worry!!! If you have all your pre-reqs done with good grades I wouldn't worry too much, you probably made it in... ;) But keep us posted and good luck!!!
