IRSC spring 2014 hopefuls!

Hello all! I just wanted to start a topic for those of us applying to the 2014 ADN program at IRSC. I am so excited to finish my prerequisites and apply! LetsAll compare our application processes and wait to hear back from the program together! My names is Emily and I am taking a&p1 and micro this summer, then taking the NLN in August and submitting my app!

I am sorry to hear that some of you got a bad reaction when you called. When I called last week, the person who I spoke with was very helpful. Regardless of how you were treated this time if your info is not updated by next Monday, I would call back. Good luck to everyone!

Thanks Robin. I know it is just my nerves getting the better of me today. I will definitely be calling back on Monday if my scores still aren't showing.

I really wouldn't worry too much unless your application isn't updated by Monday. Today is the deadline so they are probably still processing all the information from this week's NLN scores and then any other information they receive. 300+ applicants calling about the status of their applications probably isn't going to make the info appear any faster. Like I said, I wouldn't worry about it unless it's not updated by Monday. :)

Tlilavois, when did you take your NLN?

I took it August 27th. It feels so far away but it was only last Tuesday.

So all my scores are showing up on the application but there is no green check next to my micro and anatomy grades. Is that normal? Should I call on Monday?

There are no checks next to mine but my points are there. Are your points there?

No checks next to my classes either. I think it's normal. Mine has been that way for quite some time.

Hi Jen 915, I was just wondering because like KimKofke I got ZERO info from the department when I called... what score was it that they considered competitive? I got a 148 on the NLN for a total of 177 points with the classes. The waiting is killing me just like it is everyone else I guess!! I asked the question about what score is competitive in every different way I could, but the only answer I got was that they couldn't say!!
