Hello all! I just wanted to start a topic for those of us applying to the 2014 ADN program at IRSC. I am so excited to finish my prerequisites and apply! LetsAll compare our application processes and wait to hear back from the program together! My names is Emily and I am taking a&p1 and micro this summer, then taking the NLN in August and submitting my app!

Tell me about yourself !

Okay...I went to the Orientation and I left there more confused. I have all my information, I'm currently enrolled, and I feel like I got a pretty good grasp of how/when/what's expected. I understand the whole point system. Yesterday in class someone said that anyone with an LPN license gets "special" admittance first. So here's my question: If an LPN takes the NLN test and gets a score of 130 and I take the NLN and get an overall score of 160....Do they get in BEFORE me? Is it known what is the average of LPN applicants versus traditional students? Example out of 70 accepted are 50 LPN and 20 traditional, etc.?

Hello all, I was accepted to the upcoming fall semester & I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions about whether to take the online course or regular one? I'm leaning towards internet just in case

I ever couldn't make a lecture but I plan on attending them all. Any insight would be great thanks !

I loved the online option. I still went to most of the lectures, but the part I needed was being able to test in Vero. It gives you flexibility if you ever need it.

Does anyone know if they send alternates a declination letter if they don't get in? Or are we supposed to just wait until 5:00pm on 8/25 and if we don't hear anything that's our declination?

Hello! I am currently taking my pre reqs at eastern Florida state college. I am looking to transfer to IRSC because I do live here in Sebastian. I called the information hotline but the guy who I got didn't have the information I was looking for. What general ED classes did you take for the nursing program? I already have ENC1101,PSY2012,Nutrition,MAT1033 & Humanities. I know I have to take a+p1 with lab and micro with lab. Just needing some info I do plan on going to talk to an advisor at the Mueller Campus.

Hey future nurses, how is school going. I am applying for ADN Deadline Sept 3, 2015 (Spring 2016) class, Im preparing for my NLN Exams now. I have found y'all threads very very helpful. The emotions are still very very raw (just imagining it) A little about me. I have been a LPN for 5 years, Live in PSL work fulltime in Stuart. Will complete all my prereqs soon. I hope you all will be posting on here when you graduate, so i can celebrate in your joy. Best of Luck!
