IRSC Fall 2014 Hopefuls!

Published

Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)

Good job on your score Jessica!

Thank you gators and sbabs! Yeah, the finally day is 3/6 so I hope we find out soon!

The online status only gets updated on Monday mornings at 6am. It took almost two weeks for mine to appear. Well done on your scores. I can't wait to hear one way or the other. Hopefully it will be as quick as the last intake (around 3 weeks).

A friend of mine in the program said it took right around six weeks to receive an answer, so now we wait.

Don't forget we have spring break coming up so I bet we won't find out till at least April :(

What score did you get on the NLN Ann?

@ gators I had a 138 on the test and a total of 166. I hope it's enough.

You'll get in with that score, in the one more in question with a 155. Good job btw!

Hello I jus took the NLN and got 136 making my total points 157. Does anyone know what the average is of those who usually get in ? Thanks !

Rumor has it that 160+ is in. 150+ might be in as an alternate but it's speculation really. It depends on how strong the applicant pool is when you apply. If you have lots of high nln scores with good grades for the prerequisites than even a 160 might just be enough for an alternate. That said 157 should hopefully get you in. There is a thread for the last class and I think the lowest straight accepted without being an alternate was 154.

Oh okay thank you ! Crossing my fingers, good luck everyone

I'm right there with you Sonny with a 155.
