IRSC Fall 2014 Hopefuls!

Published

Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)

AUGUST 22 is mandatory. Wear the uniform. It is at Health Science Convocation (Treasure Coast Public Safety Complex) starts at 9am. Address is 4600 Kirby Loop Rd, Fort Pierce, FL 34981. Phone is 772-462-7150. AUGUST 25 is also mandatory in Building H-106 at 8 am- 1pm.

The student decal/ID are free. Also I sent an Email to Diana Camacho and her response was "The instructors of the course have requested that you take it." This was also stated in the handouts under following acceptance into nursing program. "Students will be required to take additional assessments such as TABE." And it is also found under Testing on the other ADN Nursing handout. It's not a bad idea to take the TABE. The testing center also stated it was mandatory to pass for the nursing at a 12.9 on all subjects.

I just got off the phone with the bookstore and the girl said they're not sure if the epackage will be in by midnight madness. She said it might but they cannot guarantee it. :(

When is the deadline for all this paper work?

I think it's Friday next week at 5pm.

August 8th everything is due but they suggested going ASAP so you can make sure you got everything & have enough time to correct any mistakes. Also I can't remember a whole lot about the E-book. it contains all of our books for the next 4 years, correct ?

Yes the e-book contains all the books. Sweet deal thank you guys. Was just double checking!

Woops, 2 years**

I heard back from mrs mason. Taking the tabe is strongly encouraged but not required. Must be a new thing.

Ahh thanks so much Mackenzie i would have completly forgot about it! Whew!

Where are you guys getting the information about the meeting on 8/22?

Woohoo I am all set. Just handed in all my paperwork. Spoke to Dr Hubbard. Tabe test is recommended but definitely not required.
