IRSC Fall 2014 Hopefuls!

Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)

I'm going tomorrow to get my ID and decal then hand in all my things, yay! Hopefully it's all good. Then Thursday going to get my ebook if they have it at the midnight madness thing.

And Emikate007, I did the TB Gold test and it came back indeterminate. I didn't want to risk getting it done again and having the same results, so I just had my work do a chest X-ray and it read negative.

My chest xray read negative. Im glad I went to an urgent care clinic, because I was reffered by my primary care physician to another doctor and I wont be in to see them until after the paperwork deadline. I was also told we do not have to have our parking decal and ID submitted because they make us pay for tuition first, so we can submit that afterwards

I turned in everything today hoorayy. One of our papers says we don't have to get the ID & parking pass until August 25th but I went ahead & got both today. Our first day is coming up fast !

I have to finish my physical tomorrow then I'm turning my papers in. I'm so glad this is almost over with! Such a stressful week.

I took the IRSC CPR class on June 26th and still haven't received the certificate in the mail. The nursing school listed that class on their handout to receive the cert. How long did it take for everyone else to get theirs in the mail.

I never received mine in the mail. I had to have one printed at the office in mid-July.
