Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)
That's a great idea thank you! Not pregnant yet but we are trying! So maybe I should get it done this month to get it out of the way! That's good to know about the length of them, I had no idea! I'll have to get TDAP if it only lasts 7 years, I know I had the MMR when i was a kid, & I have chicken pox so don't think the shot applies to me, & Hep B I'll look into that one too thank you so much for the info!!
Hey everyone! I have 3 size small blue polo shirts I need to sell... never worn, have been washed though. All 3 for $60 In Vero Beach. [email protected] or 772-473-0605
So I missed my CPR class at IRSC and there are no other open classes. I'm now looking around the vero area for other CPR options. I was looking at the PowerPoint we got at one of the meetings and it says that the 8 hour course must include...8 hours? Was the CPR class at IRSC 8 hours? I was looking around and I only see 4-5 hour classes. I still need to buy the CPR book as well. Will it matter that I didn't take the class at IRSC? Does anyone know?
Edit: I see that the check list says a 5 hour course.

Why don't you just get them before you get pregnant? Unless it's too late, in which case congratulations! :) TDAP is valid for 7 years, MMR I believe is for life if your titer is positive, Chickenpox again just a titer or you might have had it or have been vaccinated as a child, Hep B you can opt out of (though you probably really should have that one - hepatitis is not fun), TB is just a skin test.
