Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)
It was nice meeting you, annasmum!! I'm glad we got Dr. Stone :) That stinks we need zip up tops though, I was really hoping I could just use my old white scrub tops. Oh well.
Does anyone know who I should email if I have a question regarding an immunization? I don't want to email the wrong person.
I'm sorry to ask here just curious of anyone that might know. I applied for Fall 2014 spring semester (the one you guys are going for) but got denied. I'm going to re-apply for Spring 2015 program but I'm also thinking of applying for LPN Spring 2015 program. Am i allowed to apply for 2 different programs at same time? Will the NLN exam work for both or do I have to take separate NLN exams? I just want to get my foot in the door so bad for the healthcare field & don't want to get denied again for RN (which is my ultimate goal!) cause I feel like I would just be waiting around after that since I'll have no more classes to take for my a.d.n until program. Thank you so much for any advice!!!!
@jessika1252
sorry you didn't get in I think you can apply to as many programs as you want, not sure though. But, if you're seriously considering LPN the deadline for this fall's application is May 22nd, so you still have time if you don't want to wait another semester. And there is an NLN but I think it is different because when I paid for mine the cashier asked if it was for LPN or RN? The RN is probably harder and might be interchangeable for LPN if you got a good score, I would ask the nursing department about that. Best of luck to you, and DONT GIVE UP!!!
