Hi! I've been around here a while, but never introduced myself. My name is Collin (Yes, I'm a girl, LOL). I'm a new grad (May 2006). I live in Northern IL, pretty close to the WI border.

Almost a student nurse from IL

I am going to Elgin Community College. I finishing up prereqs. I live in Crystal Lake.

Can anyone explain why it is that we can't use basic calculators on the NLN exam? I hate math. I'm really worried about that part of the NLN. I just finished a remedial algebra course. I am planning on taking a remedial geometry course. I'm just not fast at math.

That's why chemistry was so hard for me. I ended up getting a B, but I spent hours and hours of studying. I also hate those word problems.

Why no calculators on NLN exam?
