Hi everyone! I just thought I'd start the new State forums off with an introduction thread. Please feel free to reply to this thread if you wish. Otherwise, feel free to start a new topic if you wish to discuss other topics that are local or state related. Enjoy!

Hello! My husband and I moved to IL in January! I am currently working as an LPN, and am applying for CLC's spring '09 ADN class :)

Hi! I'm also a CLC spring '09 hopeful. Good luck!

Hello, I'm a nurse who has been practicing for 4 years in the Chicago area. Looking forward to contributing to this forum!

Hello,

I am a new member. I am a pre-nursing student at the College of Lake County. I take my pre-nursing exam Dec 16th. All I need is Micro and the CNA class and license to get in. I don't need micro to get in, but I want to have everything out of the way by the time I start the nursing classes, hopefully fall 2009 depending on my pre-nursing test score. I have read some very interesting and informative posts on here in the last couple months. Can't wait to contribute.

Hello everyone,

My name is Mrs. J., I reside in Belleville, IL. I am a new LPN, I graduated from Kaskaskia College with honors, I took the n-clex the 1st week of Dec. I passed the 1st time. I am so happy. I think that all nurses is great, because we can give anyone some information that they need that is very helpful for them, and also some words of encouragement to. I am glad I joined.:clown:

so, I see this is the introduction thread so I figured I'd make my first post here. my name's Voltaire. been a nurse with a license right before New year's of 2011 and i just survived my first work week as a nurse today.. I still have a lot to learn..

But honestly, i've learned more on my first week as a nurse than any clinical rotation i've ever been on!
