How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

My name is Jami. I am 23 yoa, I live in Delaware, and I just started my clinicals this semester. Still in a state of shock i guess i could say, about all the work that is due. :) Not married, no kids, just a boyfriend of 5 years, Rob. I have worked in Oral Surgery for 4 years, so I kinda have that OR side to me, but I basically am amused with everything!

Just wanted to introduce myself! Thanks for listening!

Hello this is my first message. I am new to this website. I am a Nursing student going for my ADN. I am a mother of 2 boys and I will be graduating December 2005. I am a little overwhelmed, there is a lot ahead but I am excited about the future. My next test is on Fluid and Electrolytes and I am very nervous. Well any input for a Nursing I student.....

carm, it's a pleasure to meet you! all the best as you begin your program this fall.

hi there,

name is carm. i'm 30, married and will begin my first semester for rn this fall. i'm currently finishing up my prereqs at salt lake community college(anatomy and physiology) i already have a ba in psych which i got in may of 1999. i will be attending the university of utah bsn program-but since i already have a ba i dont have to take any other additional courses other then the specific nursing courses-i only have to put in my 2 years of nursing school. i am currently a welfare case manager for the state of utah. definately not the career i want to be in. i previously worked as a pscyhiatric tech-which is where i was first exposed to nursing as a career and have wanted to be a nurse ever since. now i am working on making that thought a reality !!! :)

5 semesters to upgrade? bsn i hope? thats a lot, here it is 2, but for adn program upgrade.

everyone!
