How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.
I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

Hello to all! I am a 32 yr old. mother of 2 children, 10yr old Jasen and 7 yr old Hannah, wife to a wonderful husband and student. I have taken all of my General Ed courses for the ADN program that I should begin in the fall of 2004. I am currently in Microbiology (my last class ) and will be glad when it is over, that is if I make it! If anyone can help me out with this class- I am all ears! I look forward to beginning my nursing classes with no other classes to take with it so I can devote all my time and brain cells to them with no complications!
Take care everyone!

Hello all!
I'm new to the forum and won't actually start nursing school until next fall....darn waiting lists!!
Anyway... I'm 26, married, currently work as a medical receptionist in an out patient psych. clinic...
I can't wait to start school and I'm hoping to learn a lot before I start by reading messages here from seasoned RNs and any other info I can get my hands on....
Good luck to all of you and I'm glad to be here... hope to get to know you all better soon.
