How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

hi all!

my name is carl. i am 43 years old, married, with no kids and i will be just starting my preq. next month. afterwards i hope to start an accelerated bsn degree. i currently have a bsee and a masters degree.

there are two schools near me that have accelerated programs, and their preqs are pretty similar. i will be applying to both of them soon and then i suppose i will have to nail down exactly what i need to take.

this is a great forum. i look forward to coming here as my new career progresses.

carl, welcome to the board!

Hi everyone,

I'm new around here. I'm Jennifer mom to three beautiful kids. I have been an LVN for 1 1/2 years. I am currently working on prereqs for an ADN program. I have been looking into the Excelsior College online ADN. Has anyone had any experience with this? I would love to hear any comments or advice.

Thanks,

Jennifer
