How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.
I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

:) Hi everyone. I'm Michelle, 22, single mom with a beautiful 5 year old son. I'm currently a realtor. I'm starting my liberal arts classes in 2 weeks, and into the ASN program in the fall. I'm thinking of going all the way and getting my BSN. I'm selling my home and moving back with my parents for awhile (god bless them:) and am really excited to finally follow through with my dream of becoming a nurse.

Hi all, I thought I'd inject some testosterone into the discussion! I'm male, 38 and will be starting my prereqs in a couple of weeks. I'm undergoing a career change and want to become a CRNA. It's going to be a long road to get there, but I hope it will be a wonderful, fulfilling career.
Along the way, I look forward to continued support and encouragement from these boards.
Thanks!
