How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.
I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.
Care to share?

Happily married.4kids.2 boys 2 girls.22,21,19,16,y/o.Welcome everyone !!! and looking foreward to talkin'to ya all!!Also love gardening, animals and of course antiques!!!!!
I know your frustration!! If you have to work, you have to work. If you have the option of not working, it will only work in your favor. Nursing school isn't like any class you have ever been in, let alone the tests. Personally, I felt as if I were transported to another dimension!! It generally is fast paced and you are learning a LOT!! It will be tough for you over the next couple of years, but there will be a light at the end of the tunnel, I promise. Just dive right in, pay attention, study, be confident, be assertive, oh yeah....did I already say study. Anyway, like I said, study....and best of luck!!

:monkeydance: HI EVERYBODY! My names Betsy. I am 23 years old Im in my last semester of BSN school. YEAAA!! Only a couple more weeks to go before I scedule a test date...OMG its soo hard to believe that I am finally almost there. It seems like it has taken me forever to get here when in fact it wasn't. I however am finding it hard to focus and getting over this last big wall. I've had some family issues that I've had to take care of but I'm muddling through it.
