How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

Hello! I'm Julie, 30, recently married. I made the decision to go back to school for my BSN 2 years ago. I'm currently a second semester junior and will be graduating in Dec. of 07.

Well this time last year I was a new LPN student. Now im an old one-I have 15 days before I finish. 2 days ago I found out that I would be a NEW student again!!

Just accepted to an ADN program at Durham Technical Community College in NC. I still had a year to wait- but the alternate wait list got me in early.

Hello everyone! I am currently a LPN and just got accepted into the ASN program as a second year student. First year waved because of my experience. Ive been a LPN for 10 years and I know thing have changed. Any suggestions for success??

Hi, I'm Laurie, 40, and will be attending nursing school in the fall. I'm married and have two young boys, ages 8 and 7. Phew...they keep me busy! So happy to have found a wonderful website such as this.

Hey guys! I've been a long-time lurker on this site, and finally decided to take the plunge and join the site. Let me just say - FANTASTIC.

But anyway, I'm Anna. I am 20 years old, and I am starting my nursing classes in fall, finally. I've been on the dreaded wait list for nearly 2 and a half years at my community college, and I am both super excited and scared to death about clinicals.
