Introductions:"New" and "Old" Students.

How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

I just made it over to this forum yesterday, I am 26 with a husband and two kids boy(5), girl(3) and I will start the nursing program May 10th 2006. I am sooooo excited. Good luck to everyone!!!!!!!!!

hello everybody! My name is Amanda, I am a stay at home mom right now to Caleb 7 mos old. My husband is a sportswriter/journalist. I just got accepted into the Nursing program here for Fall 06! I am soooo excited. I have been a CNA for about 7 years now, and have worked in many different nursing homes. I have a special place in my heart for the elderly. I hope to get to know you all and learn something from you guys/girls.

Hey Everyone,

I'm Cristina & am going to be a first year BSN student. I just had my orientation today & got sized for my uniforms. All that did was make me even more anxious to finally begin school. I'm also married to best husband ever!!! And a proud parent of our kitty Conan O'Brien.

Hi I'm Julie and I will be starting my ADN program in Orlando August 2006. It's just me and my boyfriend but he is always at work which is a good thing so that I have a quiet house to study in. I did great with my prereques so I just hope I am as successful in the program. I'm really anxious because our school doesn't give us a lot of information ahead of time on how to prepare while we are waiting for the program to start. Love this forum!

My name's Deanna, i'm 23 and from CT. I'll be starting my accel second degree BSN program on May 22nd. and it goes until August 2007. I'm very excited and can't wait to begin. We haven't had our orientation yet (it's on the 16th) so I haven't been able to buy my uniforms, books, etc., yet. I'm really looking forward to getting started!! :)
