I submitted my application today for an RN position and I am so excited/nervous! I graduate this May. So I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on the interview process? What kind of questions will I be asked? Are there particular questions asked with this interview since it is for a nursing job compared to other job interviews? I just want to be prepared! Any help/advice is GREATLY appreciated! :)

They are usually panel interviews and they like to ask behavioral questions like, "tell me about a time when you had a conflict with a coworker..." Google behavioral interview questions or nursing interview questions and a ton will come up with examples of answers. Good luck!
I graduate in May as well and had my interviews in Jan. I accepted a job in a MICU!

Whenever I interview for a job, I go over the company's website and look at their youtube channel and watch a couple general videos to get an idea about the institution (such as a nurses' week video). I also look for information specifically on the unit I am interviewing for. Many hospitals will have unit descriptions on their website. I make sure to know the hospitals mission and values. I also look at quality measures and customer satisfaction scores from CMS. Hospitals with low customer satisfaction scores are stressful places to work at since the hospitals are bending over backward to please the patients. The internet is full of sample interview questions. TheCommuter has a great series of articles on the topic.
