Hi Everyone,
I'm new here and hopefully I'm posting this in the right area. I'm currently an LVN in Ca and looking into a 1 year LVN-RN on-line program based out of Fl. The name of the school is called International College of Health Sciences based out of Boyton Beach, Fl. I was just wondering if anyone here has had some experiences in dealing with this school, currently attending, or could provide any insight into the program. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hey. Am an lvn in California (northbay) and in the process of registering for October. Is the gap test hard and what does it involve? Thanks

Between 9 and 15 days. I spoke to my director and she was very supportive

Their NCLEX pass rates are comparable to national averages. ICHS accepts credits from other schools, CLEP, DANTES, etc. General education and nursing theory coursework may be completed remotely. Clinical training is done in Florida and may be scheduled throughout the course or as a block at the end of the program. Several nurses have transitioned from LVN/LPN to RN through this route and successfully endorsed their licenses to California.
If I choose to do clinical as block at the end of the program and test out....... how long would the entire program be included theory.(I’m currently an LPN in NYC). Thanks

How much is the program? Is it rolling admission? Thank you

Hey Lucylu,
I am in the program and just heard they have a class starting in December. I think you should be fine with Nclex PN. I was admitted before the gap analysis but so far, I hear most people used nclex pn. Good luck, you’ll do great!

Are the nursing classes self paced? And is there a cumulative final exam every semester, I'm a little nervous ...Im use to power points and lectures.
Thank YOU!!!!

Honestly, I think I'm just going to download the nclex rn mastery app and refresh myself on those subjects. I'm a psych nurse so not really too worried about that and I heard the pharm exam is mainly d over h and I'm pretty good with that. If I were you I'd probably just do questions in each subject and look over the rationales. Good luck
