International College of Health Sciences

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and hopefully I'm posting this in the right area. I'm currently an LVN in Ca and looking into a 1 year LVN-RN on-line program based out of Fl. The name of the school is called International College of Health Sciences based out of Boyton Beach, Fl. I was just wondering if anyone here has had some experiences in dealing with this school, currently attending, or could provide any insight into the program. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Are you doing LPN- RN? How long could I finish the program? Thinking of doing it but scared at the same time. How much is the cost now?

yes, I am completing the Lpn to rn program. I tested out of fundamentals and pharmacology but I had to complete 2 prerequisites. I hope to be finished in June of next year. The admissions processed has changed since I started and they have added many more things because of people trying to cheat and things like that. So I can only give you what my experience is but it may be a tad bit different for you. I will be completing clinicals in January for med surg and psych. They did not give me any credit for work experience. I know, bummer.

I have been calling them it just goes straight to Kimberly Randolph’s voicemail but never got a call back. Is it a 12month program for lpn-rn or it will be up to your own pace? I currently have my micro, anatomy and physio. Is there any other pre reqs that they require? Can you start the program while working on the other prereqs as well?

Any tips on gap analysis exam- if it's hard or easy ? You need to study from Ati books or Nclex PN? I'm trying to starting in feb also.

Hello,

I will be starting the program in February next year. Just wanted to get tips from the one's who has already started, how the beginning of the program was ? and do someone need to travel to the school to get the first semester books and supplies? Or do they mail it to you and what classes can someone test out?

Thanks

Hi! Email me at [email protected]

I will also be starting this Feb. We can create a whatsApp for our batch.

Hi! How is it going for you in the school? Are the exams proctored? Can you email me? I’m from California too and have some questions. [email protected] is my email. Thank you so much.

I will be going to clinicals next month and it is very fast pace. You definitely have to be a distance learner to complete this program. The mid term and final are proctored. You can do it, just get in grind mode and it is doable. About to sign off because I have to study for finals.

So, they will have you complete your prerequisites first and then once complete you can go into the program. It is not at your own pace. You have timelines on when assignments are due. Good luck to you and I know you guys will do well.
