International College of Health Sciences

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and hopefully I'm posting this in the right area. I'm currently an LVN in Ca and looking into a 1 year LVN-RN on-line program based out of Fl. The name of the school is called International College of Health Sciences based out of Boyton Beach, Fl. I was just wondering if anyone here has had some experiences in dealing with this school, currently attending, or could provide any insight into the program. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

No, it is not self-paced, there due dates for assignments, quizzes, and exams. It depends on the class but, I've had midterms and finals exams.

How are the classes are they difficult? Also are u flying out every 15 weeks?

I started the program on June 10th and I am pretty excited. They have deals with hotels near the school for discounted rates for the students and since there are so many Californians going there, (I am from California, too) you should probably link up with another student to decrease costs in regards to room rates. Good luck to all the other students starting like me. ?

Hey. I wanted to know how the program went for you. I just started the program about a week ago. Still trying to navigate through the coursework.

If anyone could message me with details about the nursing program at ichs I would greatly appreciate it. I just started the program after testing out of pharm and fundamentals. I’m currently enrolled in Med surg and psych. If anyone has any study tips or guides I’m open to suggestions. Thanks!

Hey, it’s pretty hectic because there are lots of kinks they have to work out but I am also in Med surg and Psych. When I started I had prerequisites to complete.

Hello,

I will be starting the program in February next year. Just wanted to get tips from the one's who has already started, how the beginning of the program was ? and do someone need to travel to the school to get the first semester books and supplies? Or do they mail it to you and what classes can someone test out?

Thanks

I agree with you about the kinks. I’m finally getting the hang of everything. Could I message you regarding your classes

Hi dodgergirl, how is it going for you now at ICHS? Are you almost done yet? I’m from California and looking at going to this school.

Sure, you can message at anytime. Now, it might take me a day or two to get back at you. LOL.

Yep in LA. Its going good. We are about to have midterms so I am a little stressed. I want to hurry up and finish already! lol

Are you doing LPN- RN? How long could I finish the program? Thinking of doing it but scared at the same time. How much is the cost now?

Have you been to Florida yet for clinicals? Will they credit your work experience as a LVN as well?
