International College of Health Sciences

Nursing Students School Programs

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and hopefully I'm posting this in the right area. I'm currently an LVN in Ca and looking into a 1 year LVN-RN on-line program based out of Fl. The name of the school is called International College of Health Sciences based out of Boyton Beach, Fl. I was just wondering if anyone here has had some experiences in dealing with this school, currently attending, or could provide any insight into the program. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi! Just wondering did you study there? I went in that college. Manager encourages me to start in June but I told him I will be able to start in October and he told me that I need to pay $10 more. I did not get any adequate explanation why. Later my friend went there too and anybody didn’t tell her about increasing of cost. I have a lot of doubts study there.

For me the price is not too bad compare to California is way 4 x times expensive. And this would work for me I can work and study at the same time. Of course expect that obstacles comes on your way and you have to know how to play that challenge. Nothing is easy in this world. But if you work hard for it you will get it. I am just saying.

No, I haven't studied here. But they are increasing it by $10K starting the october cohort because they are now ACEN accredited.

Exactly! Westcoast university cost over $130K for RN-BSN, standbridge university $84k for ADN (is accredited) and theres another school in orange county (not accredited) $74K for ADN. With ICHS to pay $32K (I have pretty much all the pre reqs)

Don’t forget all your flights, hotel, and food costs for the time spent during mandatory clinicals every semester.

I took pre-req classes and I am glad I did because thankfully it detoured me from their ADN program. They told me I needed certain classes then it kept changing after I would complete classes. The price would change.. horrible experience ALL about the $$$ not about education.

It's all a tax write off. It's a school expense. I've done my research and airbnb are cheaper, if purchased in advanced flights aren't too expensive and can't get away from food or transportation. Luckily, I've been saving money.

You will definitely need it. Best of luck to you!

Thank you.

Hey! who has started already the program, can you tell do they provide any books and study material or you need to buy it?

Thanks;)

I started the program on June 10th and I am pretty excited. They have deals with hotels near the school for discounted rates for the students and since there are so many Californians going there, (I am from California, too) you should probably link up with another student to decrease costs in regards to room rates. Good luck to all the other students starting like me. ?
