  1. You can email me at [email protected] I will get back to you when I am off work. Jane C.
  2. You know what, If your manager hates you then don’t use her as your reference put someone that would put a nice word on you. I had an experienced in my other job before one of the CNA is very super extra lazy and everyone hates him because of his being laziness and always can’t find him when needed him. Then one day he asked for my recommendations that he applied for a job in Cedars-sinai hospital. I said yes right away. It’s my way to get rid of him. I put nice words on him where in opposite of all what I said. After 2 weeks he is gone and started to his new job. I was so happy not only me, but everyone at my job are happy and the same time I helped him out.
  3. Just a piece of advice my dear. The source of answer to your questions is the school. So, you may want to contact the school and ask everything you want to know. That’s how you handle your situation. Do not go around and ask questions to other people, they might gave you a wrong informations and give you more troubles! Hope you will be OK.
  4. I hope no one force you to sign-up to this school. You registered on your well. So you can leave anytime you want too. It looks like your just looking on the bad reviews with the UNHAPPY Students. For me I AM BLESSED THAT I WENT TO THIS SCHOOL! Now I AM WORKING AS RN UNIT MANAGER IN SANTA MONICA CALIFORNIA. Maybe this school is not for you. You may walk away if your expectation is not met. But your student loan will not go away though. Good luck to your nursing journey.
  5. Goodluck,I heard they have made a lot of changes. But I think whatever changes their making just know your nursing critical judgement, know your right leadership, critical lab values and prioritization and master the skills you will be fine.
  6. At first I was promise to finished the program for 15months LVN to RN. Since I need to take A&P and Microbiology that’s another 3 months so, basically it suppose to be 18months. because of the pandemic the school offered an accelerated test to expedite the graduation. If you pass the accelerated test they will put you on nursing capstone. And there were 2 groups, group A which who passed the maximum passing score and group B for those who got the minimum passing score. I was on group A which puts me on Nursing Capstone VATI which gives me 30 days only to complete everything plus review for the Comprehensive Exit Exam. I tell you it’s not easy. But I was very determined I study hard as hell, plus I have two jobs to take care because if not, my family will be homeless. I study whenever got home from my 12hrs duty. I study from 8:30pm to 1:30am and wakes-up at 5am to go to work. While I am at work, when downtime I do few of my homework thru my phone. Going to school with family plus two works it is extremely difficult. But if your single, not working and young I think that is a plus.
  7. Just want to give you hint when your in college. When your in college, basically your on your own. Your not in high school anymore that your teacher will provide you an study guide or pointers to review. Some instructors are terror no considerations. I went to ICHS last year of June, took Anatomy, Physiology, and Microbiology with Laboratories and graduated July 2020 and practicing RN now here in California. I was basically on my own, only have lectures once a week via zoom. I don’t have problem with that. I am monitoring my emails, checking for any updates, logging-on in my dashboard making sure all my homeworks submitted ontime. Always answering questions on ATI. I passed all my courses including greenlight and passed CFPE and most of all PASSED NCLEX.
  8. I actually took the test without preparation because when I asked them the exam is the very next day! So, I do not know if you will be happy for that. The school is not the best with regards to student affairs or anything that concern the student. it is most likely self-service. If you can not take that, then this is not for you.
  9. Online is most likely self-study you only get lecture from the instructor once or twice a week. There are due dates of the homeworks and theirs quizzes, midterm and final exams. Midterm and final is exam is proctored wherein you have to take videos of your working area before you take the exam and the camera should be focus on your face. You shouldn’t be moving or getting-up. For the clinical you have to schedule your own clinical and fly to florida every semester it depends on which semester your on but most likely 8-12 days x 12hrs per day. You have to book your air bnb or hotel. Goodluck.
  10. Hello Everyone Just want to give you an update of my journey to my Registered Nurse dream, through International College of Health Sciences (ICHS). If you read my previous post dated May 13, 2019. I started attending to this school last June 2019 took Anatomy, Physiology and Microbiology with laboratories. I completed all my pre-requisites September 30, 2019. Because I am a working LVN took the gap test, unfortunately they did not show my test-result. I was told to take Pharmacology, Psychiatric in Nursing with clinical and Medical Surgical 1 with clinical. Thanks God I made it pass the theory and clinical. My very first clinical in Florida last December 1- 13, 2019. I spend 10 days clinical x 12hrs a day, and 1 day off. Came back to California. I was scheduled to come back for next clinical sometime on April for Medsurge - 2 and Maternal, Pediatric, but did not happen because of the pandemic. I was lucky, I was offered to take an accelerated program. I am blessed to passed the accelerated program which means I don't have to take Medsurg-2. Which brings me to Nursing capstone VATI. Passed the greenlight and able to take (CFPE) Comprehensive Final Program Exam last July 18, 2020 and PASSED with 94% score 99% probability of passing NCLEX. I decided to register in Florida board of nursing because I heard it is faster. You can also register your paper in California board of nursing and take the board in California-NCLEX-RN but it may take too long, specially pandemic, some people are working from home. Although I registered as a Florida graduate I took the NCLEX here in California or you can take anywhere you want. I graduated July 18, 2020 received my (ATT) authorization to take the test Sept 6, 2020. I went to Pearson Vue website right away and scheduled my exam but there was no available date on the whole month of Sept. So I picked October 15, 2020. So after receiving my ATT and scheduled my exam those are the times I gave my 100% concentration review. I studied UWorld, I watch Youtube videos, and lastly I read about NurseAchieve 15days before my exam. Believed me, NurseAchieve gave me 100% confidence in passing the NCLEX. The day of my exam I woke-up @ 7am and jogging around 3 blocks by my house had shower and early lunch and late breakfast. My schedule is 1:00pm so I arrive there just in time 12:30pm. I had to undergo screening then I sat in the cubicle where I had to face my dream. Oh God, I had counted select all that apply questions got 35 all of them, 1 drag and drop, 1 picture, lots of prioritization, delegation, 1 calculations I end up to 75 questions. I went home and I felt empty. I felt like I did not understand the questions. It is very vague. I could not sleep all night worried about my result. At 0700 am, my eyes still open, I log-in to my MQA account florida board of nursing website. OMG! after signing-in I immediately saw my License Number on the right upper top of my account and RN next to my name and saw "PASS". After finding my result I screamed out loud my husband was screaming too. I cried out loud so happy all my children came to hug me. I am so proud of myself. I did it. The very next day, I processed the endorsement of my license from Florida to California. Now, I am PROUD REGISTERED NURSE CURRENTLY WORKING AS AN RN here in California. So, if your in doubt you can email me. Good luck to you guys. You can do it too.
  11. I did not take straighterline but I know some of my classmates did most of them. I don’t think it is a problem. You can email me at [email protected]
  12. The program was $35k with pre-requisites. When I went there last December the ticket for round trip is $350 hotel we shared with my friends 3 of us, $600 each one of us, and we also rent a car, I think about $500 with insurance. We decided to go to hotel for safety and comfort too although it is expensive. You can get credits from your previous school. The school will send your credentials directly to school. ICHS is not the best school. They are not what you expect. But because of my determination to complete the program because it is way cheapier than California nursing school I really work hard for it. Mindset is “ losers complains, winners always find ways and solutions. If you resist your not going to get it. A lot of people that I know did not make it and they were even remove from the program because they cannot accept the reality that they did not pass. This program is most likely self-study. If you can’t do that then this is not for you.

  14. WOW!! Congratulations!! =) May I know which state did you took the RN board exam?
  15. I am sorry, I was busy at work and school. Well, just to give you an update, I am currently on ADN Program of ICHS Medsurg II, and Maternal/Peds. Recently the school administrator have us took the Baseline Comprehensive Assessment Test BCRA that will take us to Nursing Capstone if you passed that exam. Due to PANDEMIC COVID-19 they want us to graduate in the earliest only those people that have passed all the required requirements. I am blessed I did PASSED that test. So now, moving forward to NURSING CAPSTONE. For those students want to go to this school, just want to let you know that, most likely you will be self-study. You will get lecture once a week from the instructor. You need to check your email everyday to see any updates. Follow the syllabus that was given to you. For clinical you have to schedule yourself coordinate to the nursing department. That’s all I can tell you for now. Goodluck to all of you that would like to pursue your career.
