Before they had their merger, I was not impressed with them. Especially their suburban Detroit office. Promises were made to several of us, but then when the actual contract came out, it was completely different. Even the hospital was quite surprised and refused to sign with them. We were asked by the hospital to sign a contract with them so that our pay would be handled by them, in place of the hospital......................we were contracting with the hospital before..................
Not sure if it was just the manager of this office or if the whole company is like this. Definitely go over their contract with a fine tooth comb.

I too have worked for KForce, Intelistaff, Maxim, and Interim and it was a fight (continuous) for any benefit or extra monies that was supposed to be received. Never again. I then worked for two small local agencies in Columbus Ohio and loved it. They were there for you !!!! Whatever they told you, happened. Had quite a few choices of places to work with them (especially between the two) and had I not had to move with my husband's job relocation, would still be with them. Never had any less than 40 hours and usually lots more !! Anyway, I would STAY AWAY from Franchises and the never-knowing, ever-changing management that comes with, and look for a local agency................oh and both of mine were nurse owned and operated!! Big difference.
One of the nurses that I am working and who is travelling with them, has not received her reimbursement chec from them, or even any check. When asked about it, she was told that she neede dot get copies of her lab titres to them first.............they also lost her automatic payroll slip that she submitted to them two months ago.
Best part is that she has tried to contact them several times on Sundays, there was an emergency when she arrived, no one ever answered the emergency number. Happened again today also. If they can't provide 24/7 coverage with a human, don't even start with them.
I travel with Intelistaf. Absolutely love them. The only thing I can say bad about them is their credentialing department tends to lose stuff frequently of forget to include your contracts in the packets they send out. I've found that that department also handles the local assignments which makes since that the local assignments suck. I've had the local agency contact me & see if I wanted to pick up per diem shifts while I'm traveling. I called them back & no one ever returned my call. I have a wonderful recruiter through their travel devision. The pay is better than some and I always get my money when I'm supposed to.
The nurse that I mentioned before still hasn't received a thing from them.
Her furnished apt had only the very basics: furniture only, no linens, dishes, tv, etc. She had to go out and purchase everything when she arrived.
Any company of that size that doesn't have 24/7 coverage with a real person in an emergency jut doesn't cut it.

I work for Kforce right now, and it's been such a joke. Never never again. I spoke to InteliStaff where I'll be moving to and I asked them a lot of questions regarding problems I"m having with Kforce and they sounded great. They sent me a book worth of paperwork. I'm going to dot my i's and cross my t's if ya know what I mean to make sure. Has anyone dealt with InteliStaff that can tell me good stuff? I'll be using them in Sacramento, CA. Thanks!
