Indiana State University BSN Thread for Current Students

Published

moderator note: this is a continuation of a previous thread that was very long and split by member request. this thread is primarily for current student discussion. there is another thread of faq: https://allnurses.com/distance-learning-nursing/isu-faq-thread-365878.html

we had to take micro, stats, math, biology, couple of humanities, etc, etc. maybe she meant that's just the one specific to nursing, as in in addition to the rest of the gen eds? anyway, good luck on both your applications!

If you post 15 messages, it is my understanding you can send private messages.

Thank You I have figured this out, but its annoying me a little since i have to post another few messages. I just got out of work and was looking for information quickly, but I guess I cant do anything about that till I spend more time writing stuff.

Chaxanmom are you almost done/ already done with ISU?

Chaxanmom please send me your emial in my private messeges. I cant e-mail since I don't have enough threads yet. I really want to talk with you about this program and actually hear from you how you got thru it, how long and how you study.

Thanks

Hey Everyone! I'm an L.A. gal too so I'm happy to see all you vixens on here. I'm in the San Fernando Valley, and am applying for Fall 2010. Woohoo! I just need to finish with my current LVN school, then I will start taking the CSM's in March. I'd love to keep in touch with you guys as we go through the process, its good to know there's others that are close to home going to ISU. Best of luck with your tests ladies (and gents, if I made a mistake...)

Hello again! I hope studying is going well for everyone!

I have learned some devastating news for myself and this program lately; I am moving to Las Vegas in two weeks and this program isn't recognized in the state at all! So I am going to have to drop it and do the on campus program in LV. Good luck to you all! See you all on the flip side when we are all RNs :)

This is not good news. I went to the Nevada website to see what schools were authorized. Could not find a link. Is there a rationale for the reason ISU is not recognized in Nevada. Fortunately, it is recognized in Calif.

Best to you in your endeavors:redpinkhe

Hello everyone. I just applied to the LPN-BSN program at ISU to start this summer and I think I just need 1 more prereq, but I haven't got my transcript evaluation yet. I hope I'm not repeating a question here, but on phase 2 do you have to do that all through TCN and pay them or can it come out of your ISU financial aid? and if anyone knows about how much phase 2 costs that would be great too.

Thanks a lot!

Each State Board of Nursing has to approve the program for that state. For some reason, it has not been approved there yet apparently.
