I remember how frustrating that was ... especially since the only thing between me and a 45% pay raise (yes, 45%!) was my ATT and something from the Virginia BON that said that I could practice as an RN Applicant (pre-NCLEX). Once EC got me processed, there was only about 8 days between transcripts being sent out and receiving the ATT.

There is a way to request expedited transcript mailing; I think it costs $11 or $12, and they'll send them UPS to your BON. After all the other $$$, what's a measly $11/12, right? :D If you'd like, I can send you the request letter and explain how that's done. Just shoot me a PM with your email.

I know, for as much as I have paid... I might as well pay out extra, LOL!

Wow. I am very happy that you made it thus far. Congratulations, I am in the beginning stage.

All Pre-reqs are done. Doing Health & Safety this week, fingers crossed. I can't wait to be where

you are.

Hoping you get your paperwork processed quickly .

And Congratulations again.

I'm right there with you Lisa!! I tested March 12th and I think they updated my status April 16th. I paid them on the 20th. I received notification that "State Board Documents have been sent." I'm not sure if that's my official transcript or not and am too exhausted to call them anymore. I requested to have a "Letter of completion" sent to my state board as well. They probably won't accept it, but figured why not have it sent anyways? I don't officially graduate until May 21 and I think that's when the official transcripts are released!

In the mean time, my BON application is sitting on a supervisor's desk because I was 'let go' from a job after working there for 4 days in 2003. And I was basically let go because they had several RN applicants after they had extended a job offer to me! Crazy/long story, but could anything else road block me? I get a $8 pay raise once I take that stupid NCLEX!! Do you think I could get motivated to study for it? NOPE! Not until I can set a date because that's how my brain operates.

I passed my CPNE in November around Thanksgiving. Then there's Christmas and then New Years in between me & my graduation. My grad date wasn't until mid January! It was EXCRUCIATING to wait I was constantly calling EC and they did get it processed as quick as they could. I'm sympathetic to your plight!

Ok, after reading the graduation packet today. Yes, the one I've had for about 1 week now. It clearly states that you must request to have your transcripts held until conferral date if this is what your state requires!! It doesn't matter, since I requested my transcript to be sent prior to even receiving the packet. Then I was checking my application status on the State of Michigan website (as I do multiple times each day) and that clearly states the transcript must have the conferral date on it. Why can't anything be easy?

Erin, the copy of the transcript I received had a conferral date included on it. I'll bet that's standard.

Was that an official copy of the transcript? They sent me a copy in my grad packet, but nothing about a conferral date.

Just think, once you get all of this sorted out and done with, no more waiting on EC to do anything for you, at least for awhile. Good luck.

It's the student copy, but it's on the official paper and whatnot. Mine has "conferred: 08/15/2008" toward the top right side, underneath where it shows that I was enrolled in the ADN program.

hi lunahrn! can you please share your info with me regarding the expedited mailing? i completed my last requirement today-clep human growth & development and i am all done. i called ec today and they told me that new jersey does not need the conferral date or the transcript so i can start the paper works now. nj board just needs the "letter of qualification" from ec. so i am glad i don't have to wait for my graduation which is october 15 to start the nclex process. thanks for any help you can provide.
