We've had such a long thread regarding whether or not we'd be a nurse if we could go back in time and start over again.
Let's do something light-hearted!
I'd like to know in one sentence what your dream job would be if you could choose anything...anything at all.
My dream job would be a photographer for National Geographic.
I would want to be very rich and in good health so that I could go around educating others on taking care of themselves and their children. I just love the teaching aspect of Nursing. I would go wherever the need was the greatest. My aging body just will not allow me to do as I please!! :roll :roll
I think I would work as a professional shower-arounder (he he) on some beautiful beach and be absolutely carefree!
OR, I would be a singer ( used to perform on-stage a lot) or musician. I am still considering going back to school for music so I can play in my city's symphony. I love music and performing, so I have no idea how I got into nursing. It had to be divine guidance!

NOOO you would not. At least not for long, you'd be running back to nursing.
Anyone who has been a dealer(and I have known a lot including nurses who have dealt) will tell you it is the absolute worst job. You think you are treated badly as a nurse you have not until you you have been a casino dealer.
Tom, you are terrible!!! :roll I believe that they refer to them as adult entertainment establishments...dunno and don't care to know....:chuckle
I have 3 choices: A) Musician in an orchestra-Julliard would have been a dream B) Nursing Informatics or C) Go to culinary school and then open a nice, cozy, kitsch-y resturaunt. I have someone willing to design it for me and another person that would go into business with me.
But first, I'd like to take a year vacation....spending part of it at some nice, warm, tropical location and another part of it visiting my dear friends in Austrailia and Chicago, the remainder of the vacation...Loaf and spend time with my family.
