Hi everyone, Im pretty new here and hooked to the forum for about a week now, I think its absolutly fabulous...
I just needed to get this out I guess. I live in new york and with the weather flip flopping like it has over the past 2 weeks (68 degrees friday before last and then dropping drastically to the 30's last week) I got sick, caught the flu last week, although I got my flu shot. I grew up in the caribbean and have been living here for the past 10 years and I still haven't gotten use to the cold. I have to study for my NLN exam that's less than 2 months away, well 1 month and 23 days away, and all I want to do is sleep. Everywhere hurts and I have no energy to sit up or do anything and Im sooooo miserable. I'm starting to feel a little better but I still have no energy. Why does stuff like this always happen when I have something important to do? I just wanted to vent a little thanks for listening. I hope everyone is having a better weekend than I am

hey everything will be just fine. Take this time to recover. You have plenty of time to study for your test. Take care and good luck:smiletea2: !!

Poor baby...take motrin and make yourself hot tea and chicken soup.
I remember being very sick and studying in bed for a chemistry final....take it easy and just do your very best .
I am from Northern Europe and I will never get used to the heat in Texas....
Good luck and I hope you will feel better soon.

Take time to rest, the more you rest the quicker you will feel better and the sooner you will be able to get back to studying. I had to take the NLN to get into nursing school and the only thing to really study is the math. Hope you feel better soon.
