I thought I would know how to deal with stress but I dont and it scares me. I shut down before every exam and I become someone I'm not. I know this isnt normal for me and I'm scared

Do NOT give up! That was me two years ago. I did not handle the stress of school at all. I would wonder what business I had being a nurse if I couldnt take a test without freaking out. Daily yoga has always been very effective for me. Difficulty is my companion...I am serenity. It really works.

What do you do now to help you deal with stress? Exercise, yoga, and making time to do things that I enjoy doing really helps. I know it's really hard in nursing school because it sucks up so much of your time and energy, but even just taking 30 minutes out of your rigorous schedule may help. Hang in there!
