I'm so ready to start nursing school!

Anyone else feel this way? I'm done with all my pre-reqs and I am applying to nursing schools right now! I just want to get in and do it! Although I know nursing school is very hard. I love challenges and I love learning something i want to!

Me too! I start next month...I cannot wait. But now I'm torn between RN or LPN...both start next month... I just want to get started.

id say go for the RN.. as its a higher level!

I am so ready too! It feels like decades of prerequisites, but I am only a and p II and micro away! Applying in Jan for Aug start!

I hear you also!! I was a teacher and decided after leaving teaching over a year ago that I wanted to become a nurse. I am taking my last pre-req this semester, but my 11 month BSN program doesn't start until April... I just got accepted a few weeks ago, but this is going to be the longest 7 months of my life!

YES. Applied for four schools. Possibly a fifth that starts summer 2013 if I don't hear back from any schools soon! But I am getting so anxious to hear back.

I applied already and next month I get to hear whether I got accepted or not! The wait is killing me!

So true. I've got my last pre-req going right now, and if all goes well I'll start the program next summer. I think I'll be taking an extra class in between just to keep myself from going crazy from boredom. I love school.

I'm taking online classes this year, a&p I & II, microbiology, psychology, developmental psychology, and sociology and applying to nursing schools this November! I'm scared I won't get in, but you won't know unless you try. I switched my major over the summer and I'm really excited about it! The excitement makes me believe that I am doing the right thing :) I love medical stuff and I had a major surgery and was in the oncology ward for a couple days, the nurses were amazing! I want to make a difference in people's lives :) I'm thinking about pediatric oncology and going to nursing school then maybe onto becoming a np or pa!

I been ready to start school its been almost two years since I finished my last science classes and I would need major review on everything if I get accepted this January which i will do when and if that time comes.
