Congrats to you! :balloons:
Can you help a fellow new grad who desires with all her heart to be a NICU nurse? How did you land it? What did you say to stick out among the competition?
I have a NICU interview next week (will be my 3rd NICU interview), and feel really good about the others too, just waiting for the next round.
Where will you be working? (State/hospital)
Thanks! :redbeathe
Congratulations, and good luck!! How long is your orientation?
It's broken up..
I get 8 weeks orientation in the ICN which is level 2 and stands for intermediate care nursery and then I get up to 12 weeks in the NICU along with an additional 80 hours of neonate specific classroom time.
On top of that, I also have two and a half weeks of classroom time with the nurse residents before I start my NICU specific orientation.
