Congratulations to all those who got an interview! To all those who did not get an interview (I also did not get an interview), don't let this discourage you. There are other great programs in and out of New York. Hunter is extremely affordable, which makes it super competitive. I don't intend to sound preachy, but don't let this be the only program your life depends on. Don't give up and if you can, reapply next year. I made the mistake of only applying to two programs last year and was rejected from both. I was devastated, but the reality is everyone and their mother is applying to nursing school and it's only going to get more competitive. This year I applied to seven programs and I got accepted to one, waitlisted for one, denied from two, and waiting to hear from the rest. You folks are all intelligent. If you haven't, apply to several programs, your chances will be better. Good Luck to you guys!

You really should speak with an admissions counselor at Hunter. Explain your situation and they should tell you what your best course of action should be. Good Luck!

I dropped my application off the day before the deadline and I have not heard anything yet. The wait is killing me.
