I'm In At Shadyside!!!

I'm so excited!!! Received my letter today offering admission for this fall! I'll be in the evening/weekend program at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh and I'm so thrilled....and nervous. Anyone else attending this fall?

Congratulations Janet! (I'm from W PA originally, so I'm a little familiar with Shadyside.)

I'm starting an ADN program this fall. There are lots of us. Look for the Roll Call thread.

I got my letter today for night/weekends at Shadyside too! I called everyone that I know to tell them I got in. I am so excited. :balloons:

Congrats. I am from around the Pittsburgh area. I just graduated from an ADN program not far away. One of the girls I graduated with, her sister goes to shadyside. She loves it and she is doing fantastic. Congrats on your acceptance. I have heard so many great things about shadyside.

Did you have an interview? I was just wondering because I thought that everyone had to have one, but I didn't. I guess it doesn't matter now that I'm in I'm just curious. Have you heard anything about the orientation meeting yet?

Do you know anything about the paid schooling for a 2 year commitment deal? When will we know who's accepted into that? Also do you remember how much money you spend on books and such for your first year? Sorry for all of the questions, but I am nervous and excited at the same time!
