I had only 75 questions also- did well on the HESI and had good grades in school- I was convinced I had failed because it was SO HARD - but it was hard because I stayed at the hard level. (which is a good thing) Keep your chin up- do you get to have quick results in your state?

Good luck to you! Let us know of your results. You can do it!
I took my boards yesterday (seems like a year ago already) and cant stand the wait! I recieved 75 questions and had absolutely NO Clue it seems to any of the questions. I begged the computer to come back on and unfortunatley it did not listen. (darn technology). I took the NLN diagnostic test and scored better than 65 percent of the people who (passed) last year and have graduated form a nursing school that has had pretty much nothing less than a 98 percent pass rate on the nclex but i am so discouraged and feel as if i dod HORRIBLE!!! I can not even rememer any of the questions all i do know is that there was tons of pharm (by the way NOT my best subject) i did[/quote']
We all went through the same exact same you are going through and most of us passed. It sounds as though you did well. When you find out that you passed, you will realize that you went crazy with worry for nothing. Unitl you get the results, try to keep yourself busy doing things that you like to do, and when you find yourself worrying about it, try to focus on something else. This is pretty normal what you are going through and you will feel so relieved when you get your results and find that you have indeed, passed! Good Luck and keep us posted. I have a strong feeling that I will be saying to you, "Told you so!"
Your story is very similar to mine, cut off at 76, scored 70 on the diagnostic , etc. Enjoy the fact that you have gotten through your very first (and most likely the last) NCLEX, and that it is no longer in your hands. Treat yourself well, you have earned it!
I know I feel your pain JoJo's mommy. I felt the same way. Mine shut off at 75 questions too. I just knew I failed. Luckily though I live in a state where I only had to wait 26hrs to find out I passed. The man at the testing site told me shutting off at 75 was a good sign but that did not make me feel better until I found out for sure. Good luck to you. Keep us posted.
