Hi y'all I'm taking the test this upcoming saturday (the 1st entrance test) at Greater Lowell and I will like some advices/opinions/essays topics of those who took it already....I'm just scared about the essay because I have no idea of the topic, if there's any choice of topic and English is my second language (I know everyone keep telling me I'm doing great but..it doesn't change that much), Please if you know anyone who's going there or went there inquire for me , please!!

P.S: How long does it take to be notify about your test results ?
I am reading a few nursing text to get me ready for the program and reviewing some conversion factors like ml. to L. and how many tsp are in a tbls. And I am trying to work on my studying skills.
@Hurryupandwork - do you work in the field or have you worked in the field? id look into things but I dont want to over load my brain .. besides I will be in class this summer thats enough learning for me! LOL ... :)
Yes, I have been working in the field for a few years now. I am a nurse's aide. I hope I have time to take the summer classes too. Overall I am working on my studying skills. And I am just studying here and there not too much. lol
I am only waiving Micro and A&P. All the other classes I have to take. I used to be a CNA but got a job as a bank teller and I have been doing that for a few years now. Unfortunately, I let my license expire too. Wish I hadn't but I think they are going to give a crash course in study skills on boot camp week. I could definitely benefit from some of that. I am not much of a studier but I need to become one, and a good one at that, VERY soon! LOL. I can't even believe that in a few short months we will be starting! AHHH!! If you go on the schools website for books, they have some books that I think we will be needing but one or two are on study skills. Just fyi if you didn't already know. I can pm you the exact site because I don't know if I can write it here if you want.
P.S I don't know if we have always had our genders as an icon .. I see a few question marks though LOL!

Well there is books on the schools website I will pm you both the link to the site. I have no idea if these books will be the same for us or not though. Since I'm sure you all know how those book companies can be .. "lets change a picture and make it a new edition and jack the price up 50 extra bucks" LOL. But yeah check your msgs I will send the link right now.
Yeah, I am hope that will take a load off first semester eliminating two tests with Micro & A&P. I am wicked nervous as well but at the same time I am excited. Before we know it we will be NURSES :)
