Hey Y'all!
Wow, it has been almost 3 years since I have been on this website. I guess my long absence was due to the fact I had given up on a career in nursing. Well, after a lot of soul searching and one year of college under my belt, I had a god given epiphany. I realized that nursing is all I want to pursue. I have dreamed of being a nurse since middle school and that desire has never left me. Well, now I am so excited and thrilled to say that God has opened the doors of nursing for me. I GOT ACCEPTED into the LPN nursing program and was one of 150 applicants; narrowed down to 20. I am thrilled!!! I start July 7th and cannot wait.
I will be here often and would love to gather advice from all of you.

Congratulations!!! I'm in my 2nd semester of LPN school. It's tough, but do-able! Good luck!
i really want to go to EVEREST so bad. my biggest fear is that i wont be able to bridge over if i ever wanted to and not finding a job. They told me they help u find a job and all that good stuff. i really hope it's true. I am really debating it. I was in the lpn program at my local community college and it was hard. Very disorganized. I do not want to go back to that school and honestly everest is my top choice right now. I keep hearing that all they care about is the money.
