Wooo Hooo I got my letter yesterday and just thought it would be great if everyone who get's their letters had a place to post. If they were accepted or not. Then we can all congratulate or console each other in one place :)

My letter said I passed the entrance exam. (LVN school) That means I got in. Woo Hoo I am still happy about that! :cheers:

I grew up in Hayward. I can't believe they changed the name of Cal State Hayward. It sounded so much better. The new name just doesn't say anything. It just makes me wanna cry to see the change

I completely agree with you! I was really mad when they changed it also. It sounds so much better the other way. I usually still call it Cal State Hayward though - old habits are hard to break!

I am new to this site but have been "lurking" for quite awhile. Yesterday, I recevied my acceptance e-mail, and I am so excited to be attending nursing school for the fall semester!!!

This has all been a whirlwind. I just decided to switch careers last fall. And here I am already accepted into an ABSN program for the fall! If all goes well, I'll be finished by Dec 07! Whoa! I'll be doubling up on classes this summer to finish pre-reqs. Still waiting to hear from another school I applied to - Shenandoah University's ABSN program. Also still have a lot to think about -- do I want to do the ABSN thing, or stay in Louisiana and do the slower program and graduate in May 09 (with less debt)? So much is on my mind. But yay! I got accepted!

I am so excited to find others accepted into this programme. I've been swamped with scholarship app's, FAFSA, loans, pre-req's, CLEP and this morning, I got to really enjoy the fact that I'm in! I'm meeting my fellow students and it's real! I can barely contain myself - I'm grinning from ear to ear. The problems can take a break: congratulations to all of us, we're off on a fabulous adventure!
