:rolleyes:Ok...SO I am curious because at least once a month, I don't want to be a nurse. Maybe something triggers that or IDK, but I actually think I could be a singer. Or just travel the world...but I would need alot of money for that. Maybe a farmer- I know sounds crazy but...sometimes I just want to be free like that.
I went to school for 6 years and studied art...then I made the switch because I knew it would be a "fall-back career.
Art is an unpredictable market so...
Now...wait a minute...for all you hecklers out there, I enjoy being a nurse, and this "fall-back" thing was when I first started. My view has changed, so don't post anything passing judgement.
So....yeah.... If you weren't a nurse what would you be? (esp. in this dry desert of an economy)
A writer and/or photographer(although I still do both as hobbies) or a scientist, preferably an astronomer.
I think I found my soulmate on the internet. Although, I haven't entirely given up on cowboy.
ETA: me being the cowboy. Not a cowboy soulmate. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
A lingerie model:D, but if that didn't work out.....Nursing!!!! I am only a student.....which I feel like I will be a forever student. Oh, can we pick "lottery winner" as something we would like to be??
See, this is why it's so hard to commit. Just when you think you've found your dream girl, you read a little farther and find yourself thinking, hmm...lingerie model. You wouldn't be interested in astrophotography, would you?
Well, my dream job would be a translator for the U.N, but thats about 30 years too late. I am very attracted to the idea of hotel manager; hell, I deal with dissatisfied people all the time, at considerably higher stakes.
I am also attracted to the idea of a little tea room, half days, baking and the opportunity to provide great service.
I was an actor before I went to nursing school. Although I never really regretted leaving the theater all that much, recently I have been pining for the stage again. On the other hand, being paid virtually (or absolutlely) nothing to work your butt off and put up with bad reviews and tempermental artistes can be a bit...off-putting, to say the least.

just be careful on what you say to patients b/c they CAN and WILL report you to the board. even if its totally untrue...trust me i had to learn the hard way and remember the board does not work for you they work for the public so any complaint, HAS TO BE INVESTIGATED no matter the accusation.
