If you took the boards did you find it hard and how many questions did you get?

I just took my boards on March 2nd. I got 75 qeustion and I did not think the questions was hard. I thought the questions that I got in school and Kaplan was harder than the boards.

Congratulations to all of you here for passing the exam. am panicing,LOL..am taking the exams 2morow. I didn't focused on one study reference, I jumped from Saunder's, Lippincott, a little of Kaplan, Springhouse 3000 (where Qs are hardly constructed to understand but made my brain worked!). I still feel I haven't studied much. I wish and pray I find it easy too like some of you did.

God bless!

Congratulations to you all!

Hey congrats! I just got home from taking my boards, I feel horrible! I took 5 hours and all the 205 questions. I felt like most of the questions were not on the hard priority level that everyone that passes seems to get. I got tons of meds, quite a bit of priorities, some therepeutic and 3 SATA and 2 dosage. If at the ending of your exam you don't have tons of priority does it mean you fail? Does how long you take count, towards passing? Has anyone passed with 205 and 5 hours? Please let me know, I'm feeling really depressed:(

I to had 75 and passed after kaplan. I thought the test was too easy, thought I failed because it was so easy. Hang in there and good luck!

ok guys i am back.guess am kinda in the same boat as finally2008! i just the nclex rn exam and i felt funny,it was kinda like another kaplan qbank test except easier kind of.now am worried if i got low level questions, like 70% of my questions where client teachings, about 10meds and 3 SATA,and definatly infection control and whod do u see first.it stopped at @75 questions.and now am worried if i got easy questions.am in cali and have to wait.

Your test sounds just like mine did and I stopped at 75 questions and passed. Im sure you did too!!

Just arrived from the boards, took 2hrs for 75qs! did put much time in each question. does it have any effect? had some meds which I really don't know (new as well coz am a foreign grad), 2 SATA, few infection controls and lots of prioritization and delegations. Really can't tell, I found it easy,hard,easy,hard...whew! feel like I had many wrong answers though I did my best try.

Best wishes to u all!

I took the NCLEX-RN today and I thought it was hard. I was shocked and anxious after it shut off at 75 q's. I expected the exam to be totally different and I expected to feel like I did well. I did thousands of NCLEX questions and I graduated with honors. I am so nervous...I find out if I passed in 2 days!

Michael'sprv8RN, I know you did fine, just let us know that you passed.

Lynnie88, don't worry about those 205 question. 1 of my classmates had all 265 questions and another 1 had 200 something questions and they both passed. I am sure you did fine also.

Mixy, you did fine also.

Please update us, this is cause for a celebration.

I used Kaplan to study for the NCLEX and yes, the questions were difficult but it helped me pass the NCLEX on my 1st and only attempt. So, don't feel bad about how difficult the Kaplan questions are--they are difficult but after you finish their questions, you will be ready for anything the real NCLEX throws at you. I also used the Saunders NCLEX book to review concepts I had forgotten but I used Kaplan questions to 'test' myself. Try to get at least 6 hours of sleep and eat a good breakfast before your exam. Do not study with overly stressed out peers or negative peers. You guys and gals can do this! Good luck, go spank that exam!

Thank you Pebbles1, sorry for late reply. I am presently thumping so hard, like I don't want to pay for the quick results and not know if I failed.:redbeathe
