Stress on work decission!!! Please help! Need advice!
I have recently gone back to work after a year and a half. After having my first child I stayed home to be with him. I am currently going back to school to get my BSN. But I felt I should work more as a LPN to get experience. I applied at alot of places. I got a call and a interview for the community hospital for a full-time long term care position. With in days after the interview I got called for a drug test and and a call that they wanted to hire me. I excepted the full-time position because that was all I could find and really need to work already. The day I accept the position, I get a call from my old home health agency that they had a part-time LPN position. I was bummed because I already excepted the hospital position. My old boss begged me to try out the job and I love it! The hours and schedule is perfect for my schedule with school and my son. But now I am waiting on starting at the hospital. It takes a while I already excepted the job there. But didn't sign the papers yet. I know in the future I want to work there, not in LTC but at the hospital. Will it make me look bad if I turn the position down now? Home health is kinda not as permanent too. Because I have a ped's patient and the patient might not need care for more than a year. What do I do??? Anyone ever in the same situation help!!! At the moment home healt is perfect for me. But not sure how long the position will be availble. Do I except the hospital cause it's more permanent? Help!!!

Hi ericka, I'm glad to hear you finished. How long did it take you? And how much did you spend? Do they find a place for you to do your clinicals at?

If you took the boards did you find it hard and how many questions did you get?
Hi! Thanks for all your up lifting support. I found out that I PASSED! I left there felt so depressed, knowing for sure that I did not pass! My classmate & I went together she shut off at 86 I had 205, we both passed! You just have to keep the faith and pray, just put it in gods hands that's what we did! We both used sanders, I really love this book! It help me alot. Thank you all for being so encouraging.:)

If you took the boards did you find it hard and how many questions did you get?
Hey congrats! I just got home from taking my boards, I feel horrible! I took 5 hours and all the 205 questions. I felt like most of the questions were not on the hard priority level that everyone that passes seems to get. I got tons of meds, quite a bit of priorities, some therepeutic and 3 SATA and 2 dosage. If at the ending of your exam you don't have tons of priority does it mean you fail? Does how long you take count, towards passing? Has anyone passed with 205 and 5 hours? Please let me know, I'm feeling really depressed:(
