How was it? Side effects?
Please, no debate on whether or not to do it. Just reports from those who have rec'd it.
A completely non-scientific poll!
I took the injection in my left arm 4 weeks ago and had no side effects at all. My 7-year-old got her first shot on the same day and had no side effects. She just got her booster shot and again, no side effects. How was it? Side effects? Please, no debate on whether or not to do it. Just reports from those who have rec'd it.

My sister's family all got the shots and no side effects.
I fail to see what is the source of all the hysteria.
My deltoid was slightly tender for about an hour, but not enough that I couldn't work for two more hours after getting it. I went home and went to bed (night shift), and slept my customary 5 hours. Felt fine although a little tired that evening when I got up - but that's normal the day after a shift. No issues the next day. I don't understand peopele who make a big fuss about side effects. I think I was more sore from the seasonal one, but I can't remember - neither was bad at all.
Wife had the IM at one of her dialysis sessions. Ran a 101.2 fever, had body aches and a sore throat for a couple of days.
Not sure if I will get it or not. It's taking so long to get the vaccine in most of our part of the country the epidemic will probably be over before I have to decide!
Shot in my arm (by a med student- my school let them practice on us- faster vaccination service and they got to stick us). I had radiating pain in my arm up my neck and down my ribcage.
I took a nap and then was fine, no soreness at the injection site, no pain, nothing. I generally react well to the seasonal flu shot so I didn't even feel sick afterwards.
I think the initial reaction had more to do with the technique of the shot giver as well- some of those guys were breaking syringes during shots, lol.
I had mine last month. The only side effect that I suffered was extreme fatigue the night I received the flu mist. After that, I was fine.
Also, I have spent the past week cooped up with my 3 year old daughter who swabbed positive for H1N1 this week -- sleeping next to her through the worst of it and being endlessly coughed on -- and haven't come down with the flu, so it must be pretty effective!

I didn't even have a sore arm after the H1N1 vaccine.....just felt a little tired the same night I got the shot, went home and went to sleep, and was fine the next day. By contrast, the seasonal flu shot made my arm feel like it was on fire, and then I felt 'fluey' for the next several days. Go figure!
