How was it? Side effects?
Please, no debate on whether or not to do it. Just reports from those who have rec'd it.
A completely non-scientific poll!
I got mine (H1N1) last week, I think. After I saw that I was fine, I took my son to my flu clinic to make sure he got his. Neither of us had reactions. And, I just came home from working overtime in our flu clinic and I gave it to my nursing supervisor. I told her if she doesn't feel well, don't call me (just kidding). I will send her an email tomorrow to see how she's doing.
Got the shot about 1-2 weeks ago. Arm was slightly sore a few hours later, but then it was fine. For me it was much less sore than any other vaccinne I have received, or at least that I remember. I was working on my ICU unit that day, and it wasn't sore/bothersome enough to effect me working.
No other problems.
I had the H1N1 vaccine a week ago one Nov. 20th. I received it IM single dose. I had absolutely no side effects at all. Not even any soreness at the site. I was surpised most of the reg. flu shots I have had and other vaccines have given me some side effects, local soreness, fatigue etc. My 16 month old also got it on wed the 25th. She had redness and soreness at the site a slight fever over night but otherwise was fine.
I received the nasal vaccine on the 10th. No side effects from that, I felt fine.
Until Thursday, when I started to have the whole congestion/coughing/sore throat/fatigue/body aches/GI symptoms thing (with recent exposure to confirmed H1N1 cases). Not saying I have H1N1, and I'm not going to get tested, but I still feel miserable, and am not going to work tonight.

I was able to get H1N1 shot on Thursday, and I have had zero side effects. I also got my tetorifice booster and my my arm is still very sore! Happened 10 years ago as well, but I forgot about it.
