A librarian...a writer....in my dreams maybe my nurse specialty would also be a nurse midwife...or workin a well newborn nursery...I think I would have enjoyed those roles. :)
Those moods do get us going sometimes, don't they? Some days I pine away for my days in ICU...other days nursing is the LAST thing I ever want to do again...LOL!
Overall, I wouldn't change a thing either...cuz good bad and ugly, I figure it all taught me something I needed to learn. :)
WOW, SAnthony...a 50% paycut to teach....no wonder we have a faculty shortage, eh?
Interesting question.... while I love nursing... I would have stayed home longer with my kids despite needing a career to help support them.
Left management back to bedside this year and got my priorities straight..... my family..... no more 3am phone calls and 18 hr. days.
So I'm 3/4's the way there.
Hmmmmm, this is not an easy question. I love what I do. But, I would love to be a Crime Scene Investigator. I am addicted to the show, but, in all seriousness I look nothing like Catherine or Sarah! I find it so very interesting. I also saw a few autopsies as a student and found this fascinating. Am I sick or what? :roll

I have specialized is med-surg nursing and L&D with antepartums and postpartums. I am looking forward to changing to either the ER or ICU. I am looking for the perfect job where I love to go to work and do not regret that I have to leave my family. :)
