How many nurses here are members of a national or local nursing organization? I have been...on and off over the years and wondered if they are losing members d/t > membership costs...:cool:

I am a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Membership is $78/year, I get monthy newsletters and two magazines, each is published every other month.

I belong to the ANA, AACN and ENA. Gary

I don't I am sorry to say. I have three kids in college, I just finished college, hubby is in college and in September I will have four kids in college. I live check to check LOL.

I belong to DDNA, employer covers the cost.

I belong to the ENA and my local chapter of AACN...plan on joining the national chapter, as well as possibly the ANA.

I belong to ENA - $96/year. Am currently in ADN to MSN program so don't belong to anything else.

I belong to AWHONN, dues are a direct bank draft of 11.00/month. I get a journal, a throwaway, and discounted admission to some workshops, etc.

l'm with the Australian Nursing Federation, the biggest thing that attracted me to them was that you get legal assistance should you ever need it, among other perks and freebies.

I belong to the Royal college of Nurses. need to so you can get the insurance and legal assistance!
