I hated doing it to my hospital, but it was time for me to go :)After shadowing for 4 hours at the new place yesterday to see if I wanted to work there, I decided to take the job. Its a Pedi Special Care Unit, and I will learn so much!! My skills are going to become awesome - I cant wait!
It was so nervewracking to talk to my NM and tell her I was leaving. The thing that made it easier is she already knew I was looking, so she wasnt surprised when I told her today.
I cant wait to start this new job!!!!!! 2 more weeks!!!
Just remember one very important thing over the next two weeks:
Don't burn any bridges behind you:devil:

Oh no I wont do that at all. The NM actually told me she understood why I made the decision, and supported me. I made the decision b/c I felt that I really needed to advance myself, both educational and clinical, and I couldnt do it in the position that I was in now.
Also, I'll be working PRN At this hospital so I didnt completely leave..
