I took it again for the 2nd time today.....

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hello all,

I took it in Aug and failed on 265 questions.

I took it again today and had all 265 again and it took me 5 hours and 45 minutes. It was grueling, and hard. Now I will wait for a long 2 days before I get my results (which I don't feel good about).

I don't know what I will do if I get the bad news again. It feels like everyone (wife and kids) is depending on me passing. I feel like I won't be able to face them if I don't pass again!

I will try to stay positive but it is very hard....

That's the key word POSITIVE, keep the faith and stay strong.

Good luck on your results. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Stay positive. I took my NCLEX the ending of last month. i had 265 questions as well and it took me 5 1/2 hrs to complete the exam but I passed. Just have faith that all things are possible. I put all my faith in GODS hands and told him "let your work be done". Believe in yourself and have faith in God. Good luck

Thank you for the knid words and prayers. Hopefully by tomarrow I will know that I'm a RN

So many passed with 265 here...So stay positive I am praying for you

Platanos: You're in my prayers. I know what you're going through. I've been there myself. I took my first one in August. I also had 265 questions. It was a shocked for me. I had a hard time accepting it. I took it for the second time last week and I successfully passed. I know it's hard when you have family depending on you. The waiting is hard........ relax for now. Let us know how it went. God bless.

platanos, I know you can do it.... just stay positive and pray that you will passed... I know GOD is with you always...

Thanks again everyone...

rebmem, congrats on passing the second time!! how many questions did you have this time?

I keep having mixed feelings, on one hand I am staying positive and I keep telling myself I passed. On the other hand, I know I failed....I don't know if I want to find out!

I guess I'll find out tomarrow on the pearson website....I'll keep you guys posted.

I failed....

"near the passing standard again" on all the areas.

I don't know what to do!

and guess what?? its still all good. dont feel discouraged by this. there is always a next time. you are gonna pass its just a matter of when and none of us knows. only god knows the reason. there is something else that you need to learn that is gonna save someones life and you just did not answer that particular question yet.

first let me ask you what kind of study plan did you have? i highly recommend suzannes plan. its free of charge and if you do exactly as she has asked you, you will pass the next time. i was skeptical at first but i used it to study and passed and so did a lot of other rns on this site. lpns have also used it and passed. so dont be discouraged, regroup and lets get the ball rollin. its gonna be hard but its a fact that only you can change and one that you should not dwell on. its a thing of the past. lets make this a new beginning and this time ....expecting and knowing you are gonna come out on top. by the way, i failed at 75 ques in july near passing on 4, below passing on the others. the 2nd time, tried suzannes plan, passed in 78 ques and knew i passed when i left. so please consider it and take it seriously. your family is here if you need us.

Sorry to hear that Platanos.......What did you use to study? I suggest that you take a little break for now (a week or two) and start studying again. If you are near passing, that means you just need to take inventory of what you are weak in. I followed Suzanne's tips plus NCSBN. I was successful in my second try with 75 questions. I studied for 3 months. Don't give up now, you can do it.
